After the last post and a few comments, I feel compelled to add that while I love the country, (that part was no lie) and I do want 2-5 acres, I prefer that it be pretty and green, and has trees. Also, I love the small town with a cute main street and shops, maybe a cafe or two. One of those nearby would be great. I still want my semi-manicured landscape--not an actual farm, I think--at least not with cows and chickens. That would prevent me from wearing ridiculously cute footwear like these:
And I want it all within 30-40 minutes of a big city. I need my shopping and entertainment occasionally! Does that still make a country girl? Do any of you live in a place like that?
And for those of you (family mostly, I'm sure) who don't care and just want to hear what the girls are up to, I'll post more about their antics later.

I'm like you---want my cake (from a cute little downtown bakery) and to eat it too (in my private country field full of wildflowers :)!) What I'd really love is a hedge maze!!!
