Mercedes S-Class
Men that drive Mercedes S-Class vehicles are classy, successful and stylish and, according to Lorraine, these vehicles attract sophisticated women that are in their late 30s and 40s and enjoy being taken care of.
Ford F-150
Drivers of Ford F-150 tend to be insecure, according to Lorraine, and overcompensate for this by acting tough and driving a “tough” looking vehicle. Lorraine said F-150s attract women that prefer to be protected by a man so they can feel safe.

Corvette
The Corvette is the official midlife crisis car, and the men that drive them are conservative but are trying to display their wild side through their car. Corvettes attract women that like bad boys and are probably bad girls themselves.
And the number one car. . .
Toyota Camry
The Toyota Camry is driven by men that are typically solid, reliable and committed, and these vehicles attract women that are sweet, level-headed, uncomplicated and undemanding.
My husband (Until he recently acquired a company car and sold it) drove a Honda Accord. I would venture to say it falls under the Toyota Camry category. He is definitely solid, reliable and committed. But I like what is says about me too!
He is however contemplating getting truck--but it would be the Toyota Tundra (probably still solid and reliable) And he does dream of owning a Porsche Speedster '57. What do you suppose that says about him?
What kind of car do you/your husband/significant other drive? Does the theory prove true?

My ex drove a Chevy Silverado truck when I met him---and I did equate it with being very "manly" and taking care of me. I like a nice Nissan Altima or maybe a Subaru of some kind. Probably for all the reasons you listed. I guess what's more important to me though is the CONDITION of the car. Hopefully it's not covered in bird doo-doo and look like his traveling closet/ garbage can/ briefcase. A man with a shiny clean car speaks volumes (says the woman with the van that occassionally smells like old french fries and has golf balls rolling around in the trunk.... ;) ).
Very cute post!
Oh my stars...PB drives a Toyota Camry. I'm not even kidding. He used to drive a truck, but traded it in for a used Camry. I thought he'd hate it, but he admits he kind of likes it. Cute post.
Jennifer, I agree about the state of the car. My husband keeps his shiny clean and always maintenanced. Plus I drive a Honda Pilot and am told I MUST park in the north forty when shopping to avoid all possible scratches and door dents.
I don't think I can agree with this evaluation...Leif is anything but insecure.
Okay, answer me this...
My next door neighbor drives a F-150, a corvette AND a Toyota Camry.
Who in the heck is this madman???
I don't know whether I should trust him or pray for him?
Jenni, your blog is so beautiful and you daughter? Precious.
Thanks for checking in with me today. It was so good to hear from you. Why have you not been commenting before this?
Don't be shy, girlfriend.
